Laurel Priorat 2012

Laurel Priorat 2012

Laurel Priorat 2012 is a unique find.

If you are looking for a taste explosion then it is it. Yet how many wines offered this big explosion? They are alcoholic and powerful (in the simple way), but definitely not this one!
After tasting this wine, and sipping it slowly bit by bit, sip after sip, you are enjoying its power, juiciness and oaky and slightly tannic character (they are like you fine black tea – round, but noticeable).
It’s not your dry powerhouse red, it’s smooth and round, almost off-dry, but do not get fooled – the fruitiness and oaky vanilla-like character adds to the rich mouthfeel.
It is an outstanding Priorat wine for special occasions (bought at Vagabond wines for just under 35 pounds).
Enjoy this wine, I believe it is one of the best in class!
