Majestic Wine does not require any additional introduction when it comes to a wine retailer. As a consumer I will remember their set of advertisements, where they have tried to deal with the image of wine being a snobby and expensive product.
Indeed they provide a very democratic and friendly service and I am mostly amazed about the delivery. Once I have placed an order on Sunday morning, they have called to confirm when it is best to deliver and managed to do so by lunchtime! Brilliant.
In terms of organic wines they unfortunately do not have the biggest range ever, in fact you will only manage to order a case of 6 different organic wines. If you search through All Organic Wines, you will find some bottles from Pay’s d’Oc, one from Ribera del Duero – Montecastrillo 2013 (I am very tempted to try!), and some classy Loire, Bordeaux and Burgundy.
Majestic Wine‘s new wines have been reviewed in ‘What to Buy or Avoid’ – January 2015 edition, so you can check Lalaland Malbec from Aussie Victoria, but also a few more new bottles from Cotes du Rhone and Spanish region of Valdepenas.
Another good point for you to note that if you buy 2 bottles of the same wine, in the most cases you will get 25% or 33% discount, so you can get those classic regions and organic viticulture for much less!
Cheers!
